Thu Feb 23rd: Travel Day

Fly in and get grounded.

2/24 Friday

Bring: Yoga blanket or cushion, snacks, water, journal and warm clothes for sunset

 

9:30 to 1:30pm Morning Program focused on Healing Physical Body (with breaks) 

2pm Vegetarian Lunch (provided) 

3:30-5pm Outing in Encinitas

5:40pm Beach Sunset & Closing

Recommend dinner out in Encinitas

 

2/25 Saturday

Bring: Yoga blanket or cushion, snacks, water, journal and warm clothes for sunset

 

9:30 to 1:30pm Morning Program focused on Expanding the Heart (with breaks)

2pm Vegetarian Lunch (provided) 

3:30pm Hike near La Jolla

5:30pm (Optional) Beach Sunset

Recommend dinner out in La Jolla

 

2/26 Sun

Bring: Yoga blanket or cushion, snacks, water, journal and warm clothes for evening

 

11am Meet at Beach location for Movement 

12:30pm Presence Practice on Cliffs for Ocean Offering

2-4pm Lunch at Thai Restaurant (provided)

4pm Fire Ceremony at Kim’s home

4:30pm Kirtan at Kim’s home

6:30pm Closing

Throughout the retreat, we will maintain a Sattvic yogic lifestyle:

  • Heart-based connection and conversation (keeping it real and relevant)

  • High vibration food (no alcohol, minimal addictive indulgence, low animal meat if possible)

  • Stillness and silence (inwardness), when possible

  • Spiritual connection at the center of everything

  • Divine communal connection (e.g., breakout groups to build connection that lasts past the retreat)

Retreat will be held at Kim's home in Carlsbad, CA unless otherwise noted.

PACKING LIST:

Dress comfortably and in layers as the Socal weather can range from 40-75 degrees in a given day.

We recommend packing a puffer jacket if you have one as sunset on the beach can be whipping cold.

Yoga pants, short and long sleeve tops, layers of sweatshirts/fleece, sneakers, flip flops (for beach walks)

An additional yoga blanket for sitting on the floor (we have some too).

Water bottle, journal, pen

Protein packed snacks

Sunscreen, sunglasses and hat

Small backpack for days on beach

There will be light standing yoga so a yoga mat isn't necessary.

Please do an at-home COVID test before your arrive on Fri 2/24.

Notify Kim if you are COVID positive, or ill with any symptoms within 3 days of the gathering so that we can discuss options.

Masks are optional.
